Pilot on a Penny

I reduced the 1/24 scale pilot available thru Gremir as a freebie (I think) by half to get a 1/48 scale pilot. I did this mostly as a test to see if I can provide some figures for my favourite scale. Had to use the macro lens which I just hate but I think that I came out 'good enuf".

It is a freebie, courtesy of John Griffin.

Beautiful build on such a small scale! Now we need a picture of him sitting inside the cockpit ^^

Good job, Cecil. I'm always glad to see this pilot built, since to my knowledge it is one of the best attempts yet to accomplish a decent pilot figure, a much needed contribution. Very good to see it rescaled, too!

Thanks Leif! I must say that he looked better on the penny than in the cockpit because I had to do a bit of surgery to cram him into the limited space on my re-sized Maly Spit. Perhaps he would fit better in Nobi's version. It would be a good excuse to start building some of your re-paints of that fine Spitfire. The good news is that he can easily be built in one evening.
