These engines have drawn me in for curiosity sake, I did a quick build at work but didn't turn out and aborted, decided to try again now that I can see how it goes together, here's the aborted version

It looks great. It would a nice diorama to have the engine displayed next to the airplane.

I think so too, Don, and opened up the file in photoshop for a little recoloring and will give it another go. I thought it would look good with grey case, black valve covers and oil pan for more colr variety, we'll see

this is small in size, but the parts fit and the instructions are ample. I think the order
is fine the way I'm going, and would not put the turbo parts above the block until the
valve covers are on rather the hope it will line up, cause it might not...

here's the progress to present, have found a couple things to quibble about, but no real issues (can't complain about a free model-to quote my 11 year old)
