Pics: 1/48 Spitfire Mk9 by Nobi

Well, here goes... I build free models exclusively,:o and this one can be downloaded on Thaipaper site:

http://agro-on.com/tppw/warbirds_01.html

Coming from Nobi, I knew this model is going to have a great fit... and it did! The spit's wings have a reputation of being a beast to deal with, but on this one it assembles really nicely! The model is quite simple but comes out looking very good. The only problem is I used laser print and didn't have time to colour the edges (which showed up clearly on the photo)... Thanks again to Nobi for making this one available :D

A fine-looking airplane, Lex. I really like 1/48 models.

Thanks for the kind words guys, 1/48 is my favourite scale as well. My next build might be the free model of Judy, which I've also printed in 1/48 ^^ Hopefully I'll post a build thread...

I want to see that 1/48 Judy. Please let me know the source, as I would be interested. I haven't seen too many 1/48 Japanese aircraft, although I got some Marek Ki-61s and Ki-44s from DeWayne and Mike offers some unusual 1/48 German aircraft in Japanese markings (and, of course, his models are all easily scalable).

Boosed: Sorry the original is in 1/33, (I've printed a scale-down version) with cockpit, gears and articulated flaps, which can be found here at Korandus:

Thanks, Lex. I remember that one. There are a couple of build threads for it and an interesting discussion by Leif, as I recall.

Lex,
You might want to check my build of the Judy (no, it will not be published by GreMir anymore) at http://forum.zealot.com/t149502/
Some of the photos are gone, but the descriptions should help.
I will be watching your build with interest since I'm planning to come back to this plane one day...
