How to get a little beaver

This will be my first attempt at posting a build thread. I am going to attempt to build a 1:48 scale DeHavilland Beaver as recently published by the DGA:

Before I decided to do this thread I had already built a pair of floats. That is the first thing I normally do and it is good to have them done and the glue dry in the inter float spreader struts.

Here is the front of the fuselage finished

Next carefully glue around the top edges of the vertical tail. No glue on the bottom. Set it aside and let it dry

Now you can shape the aft end of the fuselage

Once the piece is shaped, go ahead and glue it

A nice dollop of glue inside the aft end

Shape the aft end and pinch into place
