Ok - here goes. Like I said, it's a small update. Just got the left control panel in the cockpit to finish up and I can close her up and start making it look like a plane.

Hope this doesn't foul you up too bad but the control stick goes the other way. But otherwise it looks real good!

Well, I actually have the stick through the floorboard and cut a small groove in the former to slot it into. At this point with everything all glued up it's pretty much as is. Oops

Ok - updates. Picture 1 (which is a little fuzzy, but I can't get the camera to focus inside the cockpit well) shows the opposite side of the cockpit as above. Picture 2 shows the frame assembly before starting the skinning of the fuselage.

Dan, keep it going. I liked the formers for the seagull-wing.

Thanks guys, I got 2 skins on last night - no pics yet. One thing to note for anybody building this and trying to use this build to help (lol - yeah right), joining strip F1 needs to be glued on before skin D1. I also felt more comfortable putting D1 on, then going to D4, then back to D2 (using the D3 joiners). This just let me align the formers a bit more simply - your results may vary
I think building gear up that this build should hit a downhill stretch now and go together pretty quickly. I'm using sharpee's to do the edge coloring - it's giving a bit of a color difference but I plan on clearcoating the whole model right before putting the canopy on and I'm hoping that'll smooth out any of the color differences.
Hopefully will get 2 or 3 more skins on tonight and try and get some pic's for anybody following

Well, one picture of the progress. I took a couple pictures from the sides, but when I got to the computer I found out they were too fuzzy, and I've got all the lights off for the night so more will have to wait.
