Smile Martin Baker Secret Project in 1/100

Hello my friends!

I build the beta Der Kampfflieger Martin Baker 12 Gun Fighter, a strange wartime secret british project for a high speed heavy fighter. I not know about this plane, but the results is very interesting, and this model transform a interesting choice in a X Plane Collection.

Pics:

I believe this kit is avaliabe in a short time.

Thank's Roman for oportunity, and regards to all.

Intersting project. Not sure how you control such a large plane with no real rudders. Engine torque would yaw the plane big time.

Here is a link on this aircraft

An excellent build, and so small too! Wonderfully unusual subject.

If I remember the designer hoped the slab sided fuselage would provide enough area to keep the aircraft stable in the yaw axis. Like the MB2 this would have proved to be insufficient and a conventional fixed vertical stabilser would have been required.

The sorry deal here is that you have a company that is not thinking the design thru. Anyway it is a good fantasy story

There is another thread on this aircraft now in the forum
