Sharkmouth P-51 in (GASP) 1/33!
Here is the finished P-51 seen here
P-51B Blue Nose Squadron Sharkmouth Mustang from Dave Winfield I haven't built a large scale model since I did the beta build of the AXHe for Mike Krol, way back when. And I must say, just by its size, doing a regular build is rather challenging to me, but I hope my meager build did it justice. As it was a large build, I did try a couple of new things I really cannot do in my usual small scale, such as the way I did the formers, and actually building up the wheel and tire assembly, then turning it on my dremel to get a nice round smooth tire. Something different for a change!

Good clean build Ray. You did it justice. I had assumed you were
restricted to 1:144th scale but your build talents show through. Would like to see more of your builds in 1:33rd scale....Ron |
