No.95 Chance Vought F7U Cutlass, originally 1/100
Would love to see your hummingbirds, wc. Is it on the Zoo Sub-forum?
And now, for the next presentation, is the Chance Vought F7U Cutlass, originally, at 1/100, a freeby from the now defunct site waspcv7.republika.pl. This model with another livery were sitting in a pile of to-do's and was by chance discovered when I browsed through heaps of paper planes awaiting building. It is actually a repeat of S/No. 3 but by a different designer. The graphics is excellent and the fit generally flawless. Perhaps I'll build the yellow livery wing-folded version. We'll see. For now, please enjoy the pictures. How does it compare with the Trojan? Papermate |

Thank you, BobaFett. The model was based on a US jet fighter but designed most probably
by a Polish designer whose name I have no idea. Anyway, I just want to say that it is a very good and detailed design at this scale of 1/100, and a big THANK YOU to him. Papermate |

Anyone know what happened to the models at waspcv7? Are they available somewhere? I see them mentioned in old threads.

Paper-so far I have the two baby birds made and ready to be sprayed coated. Still working on the Mother bird and I have to collect the material for the flower. Once all is complete and my wife approves I will show them in the Zoo I guess. My biggest problem has been feel sick and what ever this is I can't shack it. It's been overcast and foggy also which doesn't help to much. I promise I will keep you posted. Thank you for your kind interest. Please keep in mind my best model ever in no way compares to yours. I just don't want you to be disappointed. The odd thing is, the Hummingbird I made for my buddy across the street for is birthday came out ok and he loves it. Having a hell of time making the same size for her display.wc

No. 96, Curtiss SOC Seagull, originally, 1/100, by Nobi
No. 96 in this series is Nobi's Curtiss SOC Seagull, originally 1/100, now reduced by half.
Taken with my smartphone, these pics are not as good as those by a regular DC though, I hope you'll enjoy them. The prop should be longer but I shortened them to make the spinning unobstructive, sorry about that, Nobi. The reason is that the support for the main float are too weak to hold the weight of the plane. Thus I put in strips of thin wire but didn't quite get the length right. The prop was not installed when the main float became dry. So here we are. Papermate |
