What I'm using are free kits by various designers. And Stahlhart is by most favoured. Later on, I would be using paid kits but they are not Navy planes and are thus not presented here.

Lookin' good Papermate! Between you, Jan, and Chris's Micro/Mini competition card-stock manufacturers must be feeling worried! Somebody build something HUGE! Quick! Save the paper manufacturers!
All kidding aside, well done mate!

Coming up No. 3 is the F7, still a US Navy plane. I have entered the 1/750 version to the Micro Mini Competition.

Is the Cutlass a Fiddlers Green model? It would be nice to post each kit's publisher along with the model pics if you don't mind.

Thanks,

Curt

Okay, the 4th one to show here is Lotniskowce's Sea Fury, reduced from 1/72 to 1/200 (36% reduction, fit for mini competition). This time, it's a British plane. Below are build pictures of the near-complete model. The clear canopy is in the making and the finished build will be shown later. The paper used is a sort of semi-gloss wrapping paper after shopping at a supermarket. Must admit the acceptance of printing ink is less than satisfactory. Anyway, once the plan was printed, I just went ahead to build it. Minute copper wires are used to strengthen the prop blades.

The canopy is first built from the plan, inside out and then filled with a kind of compound filler. After drying over night, the mould was given water-sanding treatment. After that, the clear canopy is made in Chiawatkom's way. Small strips of self-adhesive aluminium foild are used as the canopy frame. And here we are, the finished build with pictures of spinning prop.
