Now I did notice that I need to adjust the position of the cowl guns.

Thanks, Jeff. In that case, I put the build on hold until your revised templates come out.
I guess Ray will think the same way. Papermate |

Thank you for your compliment. Bruno. I plan to build the Armada Argentina version
but not sure if it means Argentinian Navy? Perhaps, you can enlighten me on this issue of whether the Corsair had been used by the Argentinian Navy. Papermate |

Papermate,
Before you build that version, I need to send you a fixed copy, as is it does not have the proper forward fuselage, and cowling of the F4U-5, with the two air intakes on the cheeks of the cowl. Jeff |

Got your reworked F4U-5, two liveries, ie Argentinian Navy and Royal Navy. Oops, what
a coincidence but then in that era, there were no known conflicts, were there? So, are you still reworking the XF4U-1? I have lengthened the nose cowling on the basis of the F4U-5 and intend to proceed with it. Any comments in this regard? Papermate |

Papermate,
double check your emails, as I sent you a new revised copy where I fixed the cowl gun ports location, and slightly lengthened the nose section, The cowl on the XF-4U-1 is supposed to be shorter than the production birds, for what ever reason they changed it.. The RN one s a F4U-1D, and from an earlier time period. Jeff |
