You do very nice, clean work Gerado! I'm enjoying your build a lot. It's a lot of help for a newbie. ---Ken

Thank you, Don, Rick, Ken. It is a very fun plane to build... but many things and details I never worked before with.
Let's continue... |

Let's give some wings to the birdie.
Let's start with the wire for the ailerons movement. Here again is the same method I used for the elevators and rudder. Verify that the size of the wire are the same as the slots where it will be attached on the internal wing structure. This piece says something in Polish... "if you wish to have moveable elements, cut here." So I did. So, I glued the rest of the pieces to the wing structure and ailerons. The piece of the structure says in Polish... "Do not cut if you wish to have moveable elements." So the model gives the complete option to have static or moveable control surfaces. Now the complete aileron piece is built. And it is now "stuffed" with its structure. Before I bend the paper to create the wing form, I did the holes for the guns. On the inside I put a little piece of paper painted in black so it can give the view of the gun. Now, I prepare the wing to attached it to the set. Here only the tip has glue. And now it is closed applying a good amount of glue. Another dry fit test to check its place and to verify the balance of the wing. |

Now, let's finish the wing by putting the elements of the wing root.
These are the pieces of the air intake that go on the wing root. I started the wing root. Inside this piece is the structure that was already built. This piece on the right of the picture is rather difficult to place. When gluing it, it seem that something was missing to close the gap to the other piece... but it was that it has to be bend enough so it can close it to the left. Remember the special gull wing form, this keep our neurons working-out to sweat. So it goes. Let's close the set with the next piece. Now I glue the wing to its root applying another very good amount of glue. Now I glue the support piece to the fuselage. Now, to attach the wing. This is the starboard wing, because I didn't photographed the port wing when I did it. It works the same for our report. Now, an overview of the plane. |

Eventhough I don't like the Corsair (it was annihilating my favorite planes ) I admire the look of the model and your skill.
Excellent work as always.

(make mental note, place Gremir next to Milenio at a future paper model show)
