Let's continue with the BIG engine.
This is going to be my first complete radial paper engine (save for the little one on the Fokker III). All other models have closed spinners. With this... well... it had to happen sooner or later. These are the pieces for our engine. From left to right> body of the engine, and the cylinders. As you can see, there was a number of little paper rolls that look scary to make. At the right of the pic, copper wire for distributors. I didn't paint them, nor I will. |

After a thousand coffee cups and a thousand rock songs (Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, and my favorite Iron Maiden), this came up as an engine.
The copper wires don't come as an option on the kit. The kit comes with little "V's" to cut and paste. But I thought... "what the hell..." and I made them like that. |
