Bell X1 P-Model

Here are the first parts of the 1:33 P-Model ,
I want to build it with the hatch open , so I removed it.
This looks like a nice kit, no too difficult, no fitting problems
I got it here;Papercraft P.Model - Card model.Paper models

Thanks for the link to the company. Looks like some nice models. I can't remember a model of the Ohka in anything larger than 1/72.

Oooooooo gooody! I have this sitting on my hard drive as we speak. I've been waiting for a good example to see before I fully tackled it. Now I'll have a pure text book!

Some more work done, I have glued some thin electrical wire around the hatch, just to give it some body, like the picture I found of the 2nd X1
it's coming around just fine
What I like about this kit is that the designer makes it possible to build it as advanced as you like, you can build it whit-out interior or tabs from the back, it's just an ideal kit for any skill level, the instructions look a bit unconventional, but are very accurate if you look at them, the red arrows show exactly where the tabs should go, no knowledge of japanese required

As a completely non-modelling aside - "Glamorous Glennis" is a trademark (owned by Gen. Yeager) which has created some challenges for kit manufacturers and decal publishers. One decal company went so far as to have "Glamor Glen" on sheet 1 of the decal set and "ous" and "nis" on sheet 2 in order to evade the trademark restrictions. Now back to the build...

Another superb build by the Flying Dutchman!

Well I hope General Yeager isn't following this thread, so mr Kiyonaga doesn't get a lawsuit
A drop of this stuff on each instrument makes it look much better..

I'm so glad you're building this!

I've never seen anyone else make it before, and there is only one little picture of the finished model on the site.

This will be cool.
