... heehaaa my friends, small update from the my construction site...

One air scrambler is done (parts enough, close to 80...), the second one in progress. This one will find its place beside the chopper, because inspection hatch on the other side will be open. And a small diorama is also currently finding it's shape inside my head...

regards, Tom

...small update - the gun turret...

Not much to go now. Wait... not much in case of this kit means still some 300 odd parts for rotors and payload. But, and this makes me now feel somewhat content is that there's already some light at thre end of the tunnel.

Really outstanding work on this kit!

Ah yes, that faint glimmmer down the hall is, indeed, the brilliance from the finish line...just a matter of time....

As always, I appreciate each of your updates! I just love this build!

Cheers!
Jim

...payload's done. My, what a good feeling!

It was a real obstacle (in sense of motivation), since I don't like doing similar parts multiple times. Of course, could have done better.

I also dismissed the idea of making the pods hollow and fill them with 57mm rockets, as it's also an option in the kit. But due to all the holes for the guiding tubes, I wasn't able to build a neat pod-tip. The paper started wrinkling and folding in nearly every directon I did not intend....

...so before I decided to throw this whole mess against the wall... I thought it might be wiser to bild a simple, but neat version...

Not a fan of the Hind in particular but I do love helicopters, and not only is this an incredibly detailed model, you are certainly doing it justice.
