Very nice indeed, maybe someday I'll get up the courage to build my copy.

Sorry, couldn't resist, I'm in perpetual biplane mode.

Mark -- My belated congratulations on completing this magnificent project. You must be feeling great satisfaction. I hope I can see this one face-to-face some day. Now -- how is the little Shrike coming along? DOn

I think in a way it's as much relief as satisfaction<G> It has been drawing a lot of favourable comment at work.

I think I'll be returning to the Shrike before launching an entry in the NCAJC.
The big stumbling block as I recall when I left off was the wing strut fairings. Then it's time for another beta to check the revisions and mods

Reward and/or Punishment

Just received the Gigant in the mail today.
Almost a disaster as it arrived apout the same time we were having 65mph winds and rain. And rain. Outside of the package got a little damp, but at least it didn't end up in the next county.

This thing is not only bigger than the Vulcan (albeit less massive) but it comes with it's own truck. Some of the pages are also printed on both side, which is a really nice touch - provided the registration isn't off.

Not my next project, but I' pretty sure I will build this beast.

P.S sorry about the dangling lanyard in the pic, but it took me 5 tries not to have miserable glare, so this is the best one

Be fun watching that one come together. The Vulcan was awesome. Guess you guys got hammered a bit over there. Here in Glendale we got a little wind and dust then a shower, just enough to turn the dirt on your car to mud.
