Talking A6 Intruder GPM

Hi and welcome to my first report from building a plane on this forum.

I chose A6 Intruder because of it's interesting shape

Because first element was quite hard to fold, I practiced on a copy.

First three ribs were too small

Nose in all it's glory

I extruded some parts into 3d

Nose, cockpit, landing gear bay together - everything fits quite good

Looks like your off to a good start.

I remember this aircraft as being the star in Flight of the Intruder.

I noticed an error in white field which tells where to put a "hump".
Within Lines(Bad): Along rib line(Good):

I cut off some of the white part because I had problems to fit "hump"

The Canopy seems to fit quite good

Now "Hump" fits good.

Fuselage almost done:
I put some card rectangles to stiffen and straighten it.
That is all for now

Great to see some detail work.

As a reference , a fellow builder posted some pictures of his construction of this kit in case anyone wants some more info.

A6 Intruder GPM

I would like to see some corrections/improvements to this kit especially around the engine inlets.

Good work.

Regards

Isaac

After your comment I noticed that they should be more rounded - I'll work on that
Thanks.

I have made exhaust nozzles and interior of the main landing gear
Instruction and sketches are so terse, that I had to search the web for images

About main landing gear interior - I couldn't find photos that look similar to those in my model .-mainly vertical section- the horizontal instead is all flat but it shouldn't

I will try to make some corrections to make it look more real.
