Don't know Anthony,

Me Swampfox

Didn't blue screen, white screened and then used PS to build a mask, went outside took a picture of a local sunrise and placed them into that image.

Prop spin, I took a pict of the props sitting by themselves on a white bkgrnd, placed in correct perspective, and used a gaussian blur, radial filter to get motion.

piece of cake,

getting hungry, later.

Yes, as I recall that was how they attached. An interesting approach .

What scale are you building at? How are those struts going for you?

Building it at the scale it comes, I think 1/50. Haven't got as far as the struts yet, not looking forward to them! Was thinking of florist wire in the strut with a small piece sticking out each end, then a matching hole in the wing to "pin" the strut in place.....Rich

Swampfox,
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain and share with us all your work. One can simply never have enough of your photos, they are lovely and give som much live to the models. It almost makes me cry to see both planes together

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Best,

Best,
Hey Mauri,

Good to hear from you my friend. Your very welcome!

YOUR THE ONE THAT I SHOULD THANK, CONSIDERING THAT YOU DESIGNED THESE KITS!!! I've also heard tha birder did one or both of these models...OR that maybe your one and the same??! I've always been confused about this detail?

I have probably received more compliments regarding these 2 models than everything I've ever built. I got hundreds of people that stopped and took multitudes of Picts of these 2 at the IPMS Loveland show in July of this year.

They are much more complex than any other FG model I've ever built and they are real head turners.

I wish others would take up the challenge and build both!!!

Again, much thanks..........

SFX
