Good news: our Fokker Friendship / Fairchild F27 is nearly finished, and we will be making an Airwest version available as well. Digital print if I get at least 10 reservations for this, for lower numbers either laserprints or a downloadable version. Price will be 20 EUR for printed versions, 15 EUR for download. It will be available by mid July. A 'white' version will also become available, so that people can add their own chosen livery.

The picture shows a prototype. The 1:50 model will have highly detailed landing gear and moveable flaps, but it can also built in a simpler version.
More information and pictures on my website, www.zeistbouwplaten.nl. Please mail me if you would like to reserve a copy, preferably via my site, or via this thread?

Hello fokker-fans,

i like to remark, that i've tried to build that kit from Leon Schuijt. The colours are beautful, but the paper is not very easy to handle, because it is a thick one. The fitting accuracy is not good as it is usual from modern kits.

This "kids stuff" is in reality even for skilled builder "hard stuff".

greetings

Peaceglue,

Hate to disappoint you, but the LS-model is another kit...
The above described one seems much more complicated to me:
More parts and more details.

Nevertheless you can get a good result with the "old: LS-model.
Show it here, please!

Greetings,
PT

The LS model is based on the old Veritas model of the prototype F-27, issued somewhere in the 1956 era. It is a fairly accurate but not very detailed model, but gives much room for your own pimping.
I did it on a copy of the original f-27 model with this result: see pic

Hello ponytail,

I knew there are two kits in that thread. I rely my post to the kit of LS. You see my disappointment isn't a big one. I have to write more cleary to be aware from misunderstanding.

Hello scon10,

Nice model! Your pics shows what a meant: It's not an easy kit.

greetings
peaceglue

I too would buy the G-1 if it was available as a digital download - no postage cost AND way easier to slip in under HER radar....

This is why one has a g-mail account, SPJ.
Free storage to the extent of 7+GB and no need to ever let her know the extra kits hidden therein. I'd be doing that myself had I the chance to upload my own collection.
The only saving grace in my case is that I live alone.

Kind and Respectful Regards, Uyraell.

Fokker / Fairchild F27 and G-1 now as downloads.

Glad to announce: The Fokker/Fairchild F27 Friendship (Dutch NLM livery) is now available, both in printed form and as downloads (for overseas customers only). Hughes Air West and blank version will follow later this week.
Go to my website www.zeistbouwplaten.nl for further information, or send a private mail to me on the forum.
