Piper L-4 Grasshopper, WWII Veteran,Europe Theater

This is the second and final of the WWII Veteran Series. We're currently working on more tributes to Veterans. The L-4 Grasshopper was used in the European Theater during WWII. Mechanically identical to the J-3, the military versions were equiped with large plexiglass windows over the top of the wings and behind the rear seat passenger, and the side windows were enlarged.

If you would like to have one to build for youself, PM me or Musicman. They are free....

Grasshopper

Nice job posting the aircraft Bob.
Hope all who see them enjoy the work we put into honoring veterans
of WWII.
Please let them know that in addition to the WWII Hellcat and Grasshopper offered for free.
We are also offering the aircraft we did to honor veterans of Korea, and
Viet Nam for free.
