Gerardo,
Thank you for the comment. It means a lot coming from a builder of your caliber. I must say that Kancho and Chip did a marvelous job designing this model. To this point, everything has gone together very smoothly. The only part I'm really worried about is the petal form prop hub. Other than that, it seems pretty easy.

I hope to work more on Monday. I just got back home yesterday from Houston. Very fun!

Willy

A bit late but the Albatross is a bit of an odd build mixture thanks for trying it out

Barry, I had a good time learning to build the Albatross. I think my main problem was that I didn't put the formers right at the end of the paper. I had some overhang on each section. That resulted in nasty joints. All of which were my fault. Your design is good, and it's a wonderful subject. I just need to improve MY skills. After seeing Fred's build, you know it can be a wonderful model. I will go after it again.

You don't have to worry about that Gerardo. I don't intend to do that. EVER!

IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!!!
I finished up the Ju-88 a few minutes ago. I know the prop hubs aren't great, but I figure if it bugs me bad enough to redo them, I'll do it later. I'm tired of them now. I learned many things about building clear canopies with this thing. Namely, if you (me anyway) try to glue it, it won't be "clear" for long. Anyway, the pics!

Excellent!

The prop hubs look fine. Let us know if you construct one of Gil's magical prop hub petal closers.

Boosed- Alas, I did not use one of Gil's magic formers. I did it the old fashioned way. I contemplated painting over the petals with black model paint, but never got around to it. The shape of them is okay, it's the ratty appearance that bugs me.
