Hello everybody!
I began the engine compartment this week, hopefully I expect to finish it this weekend. The work has been slow as it is one of the most complicted part of the plane, both in design and in construction, as it requires lots of small pieces. There go some pics: |

I made the exhausts rolling very thin paper (silk paper, used for wrapping shoes inside their boxes) on a piece of wire.
The wire gives shape and consistency to an otherwise floppy exhaust, and the thin silk paper bends smoothly forming only small wrinkles. Well, you can judge by yourselves! |
