Magnificent model. Savoia Marchetti has built some interesting aircraft. I have an old postcard of an aircraft, which apparantly is called the S-84 and resembles an Italian DC-2, see picture.
Would anybody have more information on this type, or even a good set of 3-view drawings for making a model? The internet does not give me any results. |

Very fine build. As always, Prudenziati's graphics are outstanding, and your modifications have added a lot to an already beautiful model. The shape and "bald" head of this particular airplane (especially in photo 3) makes me think of a vulture. I wonder if that was in the mind of the squadron members who gave her her unique paint job??

Talk about a plane that could not exist? It looks like a DC-2 but when you look at the flap and aileron actuators, and other minor details, you realize it isn't, and there is nothing on the web about it? Very strange? |
