Neat! A Long time ago there used to be a tire dealer around here that had an actual tire from a B-36 in front of his store.............. I remember going up to it as a kid and just standing there in awe of it's size.

Keep the pics coming this is going to be a great thread!

Wowee! Those are some nice tires. On the interior... I have access to a local B-36 and may be able to get some limited interior pics. The upper cockpit deck is completely restored, while the lower deck is being worked on. It may be a couple of weeks, but if you want, I'll try to get them.

I'll see what I can do Aki. I have next week off, so I may be able to get them then, but probably not until the next week when I work at the museum again. When ever I can get them, you'll have them soon after.

Great Pics!

Wow! What a great collection of pics Willygoat. They bring back happy memories of the wonderful trip Cat and I made to the museum just last month. Of course while there we were unable to see the inside of this huge bird, so these shots make me feel like the trip is complete

The interior restoration is coming along magnificently. This will be a gem when finished.

Cheers!
Bruce

I agree Bruce. If for any reason you didn't get a picture you want, let me know. I either have it, or would like an excuse to go out and get it.:D

How's the monster coming Aki?

WOW!!! Thanks for the photos, Willygoat!!! I believe all of them would really work.

BTW, the cleaner was furnished in the cabin when the ship was operating? :D

I have a question.

The forward cockpit windows frames look that the ones have been painted in black as seen in the following pic.

However, the aft windows frames have been applied primer only.

Those features can be deem as norminal? I'll appreciate all the inputs.

I was too busy to get a step ahead though, I'm gonna start again soon as I'll have summer vacation. Stay tuned. Thanks again!!!
