Albatros D V 1/200

Dear friends,

I like the old warplanes very much. Because my favourite scale is 1/200 I try to build every model in this.
I used a free download from
http://digilander.libero.it/zioprudenzio/fok-air.html
and brought it into scale 1/200.
The nice coloured plane shows the fighter of Eduard Ritter von Schleich.

Enjoy and best regards
Micha

It's a beautiful little airplane. Incredible detail and fine modeling in that very tiny scale.

Hi Barry and Don

Thanks for the statements. Espacially by glueing the wing struts I had some little difficulties, so I glued them together by using cyanoacrylat and now they are "strong enough"
I see Zio`s homepage is down at the moment. I hope he will be back again.

Regards
Micha

Job well done! I've wanted to do this one for a while, but seeing it done so small is a real inspiration! You have sharp eyes and a steady hand, my friend!

Nice job Micha - good luck with those eyes. I just picked up my first pair of "readers" about two weeks ago...they are as thick as Coke bottles!

Wow. 1:200 is tiny for an airplane... almost right for a ship though. Maybe you should build one to put underneath as background. Nice job Micha. Very nice.
