Thank you very much, boys!
ooops, Don, your post must have slipped my attention yesterday.. ![]() The landing gear has turned out pretty well and I'm quite proud of it. Nonetheless, it is comparatively sturdy, probably because the cardboard has soaked up a good deal of PVA. My best wishes to you, Bernie! I shall do that this evening whem I'm back home, Alcides!

I just now caught up with the thread and am really in awe. Such clean work in this tiny scale is truly amazing. Something that caught my eye regarding the design of this airplane is that diminutive vertical stabilizer. It would seem that a rudder that small would have almost no affect at all on the flight direction, but obviously it worked just fine or it would have been enlarged. Once again - superb work!

Thank you for your appreciation, Don and cafe!
You may have a point there, Don. The Smithonian's drawings (though not completely flawless, either) in "The First Nonstop Coast-to-Coast Flight and the Historic T-2 Airplane", figure 37 indicate that the rudder has been increased in size, indeed. cafe, thank god, Platz' cantilever wing designs require almost no rigging at all, that kept the fun in it. Believe me, there is worse! ![]() Bye! Michi
