Thank you very much, Jacek!
I'm pretty happy with the outcome, too, in particular, that I didn't blunder the alignment of the white lining on the engine cowling. Still, it was you who has done most of the work! Michi

Hi folks!
Just a wee addendum (literally!): I've now built the F.II in 1/1250 scale, too, this time in the KLM livery (my chum Josef Mayer is currently building the Schiphol airport building in the same scale and I wanted to raise his blood pressure a bit! ) The first picture is WIP, and the other plane is my Junkers A20. Enjoy! Michi ...and Jacek: Dz-3 ?!

Oh wow! 1/1250 is truly microscopic. If you want to find some crew or passengers for your tiny airliners and airport, check out the recent posts on my build of the Tokyo train station 1/1000 (Under architecture builds). There actually are commercial figures that small!!

Those really are small. I'd go blind atempting something that size.

Thank you very much!
Jacek, checked! Rob, Those figures look pretty good for their size, but unfortunately they are the wrong size. I know, most people couldn't care less whether the figures were 1.5 mm or a few tenth taller (and there's nothing condemnable with this attitude). To me, however, this will allways be the difference between 1.80m men and 2.25m ones (or between 6' and 7' 6" in the imperial system), and this is just too much. Figures in that scale, however, are an issue for me, as steadily drift back towards my modelling roots (which were the 1/1200 scale Cassadio/Revell mini ships some foure decades ago). I am contemplating some simple, laser cut flats, similar to the 1/700 PE sailors, only not quite as fancy. After all, what do you need than a little strip, a bit narrower for the legs, a bit wider for the chest and arms, a narrowest for the head? Shouldn't be too difficult. papermate: Dear Sir, I'd rather be called barking mad! Yours sincerely. Michi
