Breast Cancer Awareness J-3 CUB

Hi,
Last year I did a re-paint of Chip's flying witch model for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Seeing as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month,,, I have done two
aircraft re-paints for this year.
Here is the first,,, One of My favorite airplanes,,, the Piper J-3 Cub.
Made it a two tone pink,,, and added the ribbons to it.
See how you folks like it, OK?
I built one and gave it to our local clinic, and my Doctor likes it enough that he
wants to hang it up for everyone to enjoy.

Wow Musicman.
This is a very nice repainting. Nice colours on one of the famous light airplanes ever.(i think).
My idea is that every plane lover buy one on Chippies site, build it and give it to the local medical post in his-her hometown. And maybe you can ask Fidler Green to give the half (money)of sold kits to the organisation
Pink Ribbon.
I go to buy on now ..
Thanks for this thread.

These repaints touch the emotions and hearts of so many people personally, and i hope they draw an awareness to fight this disease, not just to pocket the money and mislead everyone Keep Up the Good Work

Hi Guys,
Just a quick reply to thank you all for your comments on my re-paint.
I did it because my sister had Breast Cancer. (She has survived it).
Please say a prayer for folks that are dealing with this disease.
Also,,, I am not making money from this at all.
I will send this re-paint to anyone that would like to build one for their
local clinic to display. IT IS FREE.
Just e-mail me or PM me and give me your e-mail address and I will be happy
to send it to you.
Best Regards,
musicman

I hope this is not an attact on my post.
Becouse i don't want any dime or euro in my pocket and i don't mislead any body. Last Christmas i lost my daughter by cancer.
And now i'm glad that Musicman gives his repaint for free so that misunderstanding is out of the world.

OK GUYS,,,
Telling everyone that I am giving the model for FREE is NOT an attack on
Blue Angel's or anyone's post.
I am giving the re-paint for FREE because that is what should be done.
This is a re-paint of a wonderful F.G. model.
I have told you guys before how much I love the wonderful models
that Chip's company produces.
They are streight forward little treasures that are easy to build, and
are fantastically designed by some really talented people. (They will fly too.)
He even gives folks B&W versions on most models to re-paint when they purchase the models from F.G. ( what fun is that? )
I did this re-paint for everyone to enjoy, and help bring awareness to
October being Breast Cancer month here in the U.S.A.
So lets get on with the fun of sharing this hobby with everyone that
loves things that fly.
Best Regards to all of you folks,
musicman
