I've been working on the fuselage for a while now, so here are some pictures. The frames did have some fit problems, but luckily it all concerned parts that were slightly too long - maybe that's not a problem. Much easier to trim than add
![]() Overall, I'm very pleased so far but I'm not sure I'll be able to fit a pilot in now that I,ve got the cockpit built. So far it's up to 312 parts including the wire and plastic rods for the tubular framework. I may actually have this finished pretty soon

Thanks Don!
A few more pictures here as I got a bit more finished tonight. The canopy doesn't fit perfectly in the back, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault. I just used gel super glue it didn't fog much to speak of, so I'm pleased. Has anyone used white glues with much success to attach canopies? I remember from my plastic modeling days that's pretty much all I used. It's going to start looking like an airplane tomorrow or the next day I think!

I've had best luck of late with Model Master Clear Parts Cement & Window Maker. Only real downside is that it seems to take a long time to dry, but it's clear, and doesn't fog at all

She's looking great!
Clear plastic bits -I use JOZ Super RCZ56. It's about the consistancy of Aileens, maybe a little 'slicker' and takes longer to grab, but dries completely clear (no fogging, and actually will rub off if you catch it at the right time, it'll 'gum up' and rub off before it gets too dry).

That is one outstanding model!
And I agree with Dan. RCZ56 is good stuff for adhering canopies. I first started using it for stick and tissue flying models and find it also works just fine for clear plastic film and paper/card. Don |

Ahhh! I finally finished over the last couple days. It ended up with 325 parts including the wire bits. This was my first try at forming one of those petal parts in the spinner, it's not completely clean but it doesn't look too bad. I wasn't happy with the black lines on the white cowling so I over painted with white gouache. I like the effect and I may try it for edge painting in the future. I'm wondering if once I get a proper color mixed it won't come back for the next session after drying out on the palette with a few drops of water like water color does.
Thanks everyone for helping me with research and such. I really appreciate that, it helped greatly with the model! Anyhow here are some pictures:
