Ran out of card models I have to order some been going bughouse here nothing to do but build my lifes stash of plastic and wood models. hopefully I will get a bunch of card kits soon My firstmate is still a little sore at me for that escapade I pulled with the guy who sold me those bootleg card kits . Its over with now and life goes on. I will post this old monogram kit I had in the model stash for 38 years, about time I started and finished it been sitting around scince 1974. Here is the Black widow gewtting a fresh water wash down in the rain.

Ahoy Jay
Its a great kit I believe this kit along with the TBD Monogram produced were the very first retooled kits that had a full intereir, Like most of their older kits of the past were nothing more then gimic models. With todays after market detail sets this ship can look like a millian bucks. I built mine right from the box . I believe I am the only fellow who modeled this in olive drab abd nuetral gray. I had no olivew drab I had mix my own. I dont buy model paints I go to the home depot and Ace hgardware and buy paints in the can along with your primary colors and a fedral paint chip chart you mix enough paint to do thousand and one models. Oldman winter is on its way you will find time I bew watching your post on the P-61 Jay. Thanks Man for your reply.

Deckape; your build looks fantastic! I was lucky to get to go to the airforce museum back in 1990, back then you could walk right up to the planes! stuck my head right up the tailpipe of the X-15 A2 (wow that didn't sound right!). but I would love to go back some time, from what I'v seen they changed the place a lot! Think if I lived as close as you I'd be there every weekend.....Rich
