Dear F-22 nut:
Some people cut the tabs off and make new tabs from card stock, has added advantage of but joints rather than overlaping joints. But lots more work. Good Luck, MILES |

Looking forward to see what glue works for you. I've shelved some kits because I haven't found anything that works.

I've never built with photo paper myself, but I think the best glue to use would probably be super glue. If super glue can't be purchased anytime soon or don't want to work with super glue, try sanding the tabs a little and the back of the photo paper to create a surface that your glue can stick to. Or you can do what Miles said.

Dear F-22 nut... I've heard over the years that photo paper is a no-good for paper models. But, if you want to make a glossy paper model - which I think is what you printed the models in photo paper in the first place -, I recommend Glossy Cardstock, available in any good print shop. I always print my models in that paper. And it I find a hard to glue part (like a part painted totally in black), I do what 3Turner says above, I just sand a little on the painted part where the glue is going to be applied.
Hey, maybe you can try that with the photo paper... sand a little and glue. Good luck! |

When I did my F-84 in photo paper, I cut off the tabs and used heavy card stock joining strips on the back. I had to use CA glue to get it to really hold the shapes. It was a pain, but if you take your time, it can turn out great.

I did a model with Kodak inkjet photo paper once, and it seemed that Aleene's Tacky glue worked pretty well. Just got to make sure to do a good job at pre-forming the parts so they want to hold their shape on their own before the glue.
