You're welcome!

I've made a lot of parts for variants that don't have a real fuselage at the moment.

Also this :

(but it won't leave my HD)

The build of that copy is now complete. I've also completed my not-a-MiG-21F-13 (mix of parts from the MiG-21U-400, JJ-7 and new parts (canopy, spine, pitot probe)).

Carlos your cobbled together planes sure don't look cobbled together. I'll have to confess I don't know a Mig-21-F-13 from a MiG-21-U-400. All I know is when it looks good and believe me, it looks good.

Thank you. It helps when the source models are closely related.

The MiG-21U and PF and later have bigger wheels than the earlier MiG-21F-13 (and most J-7/all JJ-7) which means bigger bumps on the fuselage sides.

The biggest differences between my model and an actual MiG-21F-13 are those bumps and the missing gun (its fairing is clearly visible on the real ones). The F had two guns, the F-13 has one with the location of the other one faired over, and the U & JJ-7 (all twin-seaters actually) have none. It's also missing 2 airbrakes. Basically, I need to redraw a lot of panel lines.

I'm looking forward to if you release the f/f-13's! In the mean time I have a lot of your newer mig21u/jj7s to build, and some ojimak mig21s to update

Dear Carlos,
Thanks for the Ojmk MiG. Not better than yours. I won't be making it.
BTW, is it possible to restore all these in papermodels (picture attached)? I am thinking of that. Once I get all the basic model templates that are present here, I would start. I may need some help on identifying the lying MiG variants to be exactly Bis versions and UMs or others.

I am awaiting the completion of your new model designs Bis and PF and PFMs. All the best.

I know that pic!

From the spine the single-seaters seem to be 3rd gen, plus Slovakia only operated 3rd gen Fishbeds. They didn't have any Bis. The MF was the most numerous variant.

21 stored MiG-21F-13 (or S-106) were transfered to Slovakia as well as 3 stored PF. The 11 PFM allocated to Slovakia had been retired a few years before the partition (that occured on 1.1.1993).

The Slovak Air Force received 8 MiG-21R, 13 MiG-21M (upgraded to MA), 36 MiG-21MF, 3 MiG-21U (of the Izdeliye 66-600 variant with the big vertical stabilisator), 2 US and 11 UM.

Regarding tnat pic, the 4 at the top (7702, 7703, 7710, 7712) are MF as is 4312 at the bottom. The second one in that line (2615) is a MiG-21MA as is the next one (120x). The 2 two-seaters at the top (3051 & 5101) are MiG-21UM. The last 3 before them are 2 MF (7704 and 4313) and one R (1920).

The M was the export version of the S used by the soviet air force but with an older radar and a built-in cannon. The MA was an M re-engined with the R13-300 turbojet. If the RP-21MA radar was replaced with the RP-22 from the S and the MF, they were then redesignated as MiG-21MF, the main difference with a true MF being the slightly different shape of the airbrakes.
