MiG-21FL, Indian Air Force

I've added an Indian Air Force MiG-21FL to the download section. It's a boring scheme (but easy to do: all grey without any unit markings) depicting one of the last FLs during that type's retirement ceremony in december 2013. There's a picture of that specific plane on airliners.net. I didn't do the rocket launchers but the gunpod is present.

I just hope the pink patches align properly.

Also, if you're using the pictures of the example painted in those colors in a german museum, remember that that one is an ex-east german MiG-21SPS (PFM), not an actual ex-indian FL/type 77.

I'm not sure the serial is repeated under the wings. I put is there but the 3-view (by Américo Maia) I used doesn't show them and they're clealy absent from the german museum stand-in. It also lacks roundels on/under the wings which were present on the 4 view and are present on a MiG-21UM painted in a similar scheme in an australian museum (and was apparently a warbird before that).

Aaargh I uploaded the wrong file and I've lost all copies of the pink one. I have to remake it from scratch. (read: it was overwritten on my HD)

Has anyone managed to download the pink one during the few minutes it was online before I noticed the missing roundels on the rear fuselage and replaced it with the wrong file?

(also why put roundels on the nose and the rear fuselage?)

File remade and uploaded. In the end, I didn't repeat the serial under the wings.

PS: Chicharrero, you PM inbox is full. I can't reply to your PM.
