Skyline's F21 SeaHornet

Hello all, it's been sometime. Many of my recent projects have been put on hold for various reasons but I could wait no longer for this, Sumatos (Skyline's F21 SeaHornet). This is the 2 man radar equipted night fighter version. My good pal Jeremiah from Skyline took the one man fighter version, the F20 and did it very well. This version is the Beta version and pending how fast I can get this done will be released "soon".
Here is a pan of some of the parts, light but very effective weathering, and very vivid colors.

This kit is very detailed, both cockpits have separate instrument panels to be cut out for a 3d effect, great looking innards throughout. Here's a pan of the formers cut out and laid in stacks for future asssembly.
I started on the cockpit and laid out some parts, the throttle quad is in another shot and the pilot seat already done up. I puttered around this summer with small fiddly bits in the odd hour I had off this year.

Here are the varius panels and bits that make up the front office. They fit exceptionally well.

The nose piece was built up without connector strips but to tell the truth I need the security that those little strips provide.

So I added one to hold the nose section to the next bigger transition piece. There are 4 cannon barrel tubes that are rolled in the usual fasion but take note they do not protrude out of the fuse frame. In actuallity they were just tubes that the short barrel cannons fire thru. The bevels fit the inside of the fuselage and the color goes on the inside! I had to drip a little black down there when I realized my mistake!
