Actually no. It would make into a great model though. I could try and start designing it, but I've been working 15 hour days six days a week the last few weeks. I don't think I could finish it......

Yes, I've seen the plans for it, more years ago than I can accurately recount.
If recall is correct, the designer (or, it may have been the builder, in the article I read) died soon after the research for the article was begun. It was in a RC Radio models magazine, several of which were reasonably popular in those days.
My memory of the aircraft model shown dates to somewhere in the mid 1980's, and I readily admit I have not seen since any material relating to it until this thread today.

Apologies that my information is not more detailed.

Thanks for the response gentlemen, it seems to be general concensus. I'm actually inquiring for a freind thats interested in building it. Actually most of the pics I have are RCs.

If you look up "joined wing aircraft" (rhomboidal wing is what they are called but that name is rarely used) you will see many many variations on this theme. Here is a Google search result that I found. Joined Winged Aircraft gets a lot of results.
