FG C-47 Skytrain

Just to get this started off, i'm Jarrod. I'm Evan's nephew. (That's my uncle if you didn't know) I'm relatively new to paper modeling, but slowly and surely getting better at it. Anyway, here's my first model to be posted to Paper Modelers, the FG C-47 Skytrain. The fuselage is finished, and the wings and engines are on the way. I'm also thinking of doing a diorama featuring the C-47 towing a WACO CG-4 Invasion Glider, got that one from my uncle. Anyway, here it is.

Jarrod,

P.S. This is my personal camera, not my uncle's.

That's a smooth-looking fuselage. I look forward to seeing this model take shape and to seeing your future work.

A diorama with the glider would look great! Maybe do a background image with more of the formation, some parachutes, and/or some black cotton wisps for flak bursts... lots you could do with it.

Looks great so far! I have a C-47 towing a Waco in my classroom. Students love it.

Dear Jarrod:
Just make shure the scales match between the two models. use dark brown carpet thread for the rope I don't know how long the tow rope should be? A good short ground dio would be the waco nose to tail on a runway with the rope coiled between the C47 and waco there have to be WW2 pictures on the web.
Good Luck,
MILES
