FG Fokker DVII

Greetings. Here is a few pics of my latest model: the Fokker DVII from Fiddlers Green. My this was a nice model to build. All those wonderful colours help cover up my little imperfections!

That John Dell is amazing. He repainted this one for FG, along with a bunch of others. His attention to detail is what makes them stand out. Just wonderful.

Nice build. I have to agree with you, my own modeling skill improved when JD's p-51 came out. Also learned how to mold canopies with that same p-51.

Thanks guys.

As to the scale; who knows? FG stuff, tends to be all over the place. Plus they use that odd WSAM scale of there own.

Hmmm...I just checked and its 49% off there Standard scale, which IIRC is supposed to be 1-60. I will leave you to figure it out. Hey, I just build them...

Scale? We dont need no stinking scale!

Nice build - I especially like the lozenge camo pattern on the lower wing.

Awesome build!

This was the first kit my (then)12 year old boy Kenny made. He is now 19. It was fun while it lasted! Thanks to FG for good memories.

That's a nice build of an iconic aircraft!

From the two volume history of the war and the Beekman aircraft book I assume it's one of your periods of interest.
