There's talk that the Air Force base near here will be the training base for these. Can't wait

Should be good to see this come together. My neighbor is working on the development of the F-35.

That was your first mistake
Well, no good build goes unpunished. After warning Josh about checking clearances on the parts after rescaling, especially formers, built up the turbine exhaust tunnel and forgot to check that it would fit into the holes in the tail end formers:
Oops. But a bit of surgery with lots of light cuts and a sharp blade, I was able to dismantle the whole assembly and cut out a good 2mm of each tunnel part to make a smaller diameter and just barely slide the part in. I also added the final formers on the tail end that surround the exhaust nozzle to either side. Next up, the nozzle itself.

Ah, very good to see this one in progress, as I was doubtful about getting it.
But now I can see it's a very good designed and sturdy model! Keeping an eye on your building, cMags! |

Glad to hear that this build will help give you the confidence to buy and build this kit. I always try to make my build threads a combination of a kit review, instructions, and my a discussion of build techniques, and I guess now, a sales pitch! As always, feel free to ask questions or make suggestions. If you want to see anything not pictured, just ask, I can either snap a pic, or post one that I take that I hadn't already posted (I take a lot more pics than I post).

Good save! No evidence of butchery, so it is clear that your surgery was deft.

It will be interesting to see how this model compares with the Hobby Model version previewed on their website at the moment.
http://hobbymodel.com.pl/Galeria/f352d.gif I suspect the Ecardmodel has quite a bit more detail. To be honest, I will probably buy the hobby model version unless the quality is significantly different with the Ecardmodel version or the price is high for the Hobby Model version. It is mainly because I'm probably lazy having to pick the right paper weight for the right parts.
