Any progress on this beautiful model, Chris? I know you have had other projects under way, but was wondering if this one is still on your workbench.

Oh yes, this is still on my workbench - all over it in fact. Currently working on the cockpit - the ejection seat specifically at the moment. Here's a sneak preview:

All of what you see there needs to cram into that cockpit in the background somehow...

I'm glad I asked. Took a break from grading the last on-line forum and peeked into some of my back pages of the forum and was reminded of this project.

The cockpit and ejection seat look very very good and that's an impressive array of parts to be stuffed inside. It reminds me of what Greg Perry said when he and I first looked over the Modelik model of the T-17 Staghound armored car: this thing has a LOT of very little pieces!

Yes it does. I'm trying not to skip any, but some are literally just a couple dots of ink on paper.

And you are making it great!

Not much since the last photo - installed the seat in the cockpit but not much else. I realized that it's unrealistic for me to finish this model before Scottcon on 6/9, so I've decided to focus on some of the smaller builds I wanted to bring with me to the show. I'm going to be hosting a vendor table for Ecardmodels.com so I wanted a couple more ECM kits to show. Will return to this after then.

Oh yea, this bird will definitely be finished. The two full pages of detail parts left, with nothing over a 2 or 3 square centimeters and many under a few square millimeters is just intimidating.

WOW! Two FULL pages?! Holy crap, I'd never be able to do that!
