man, how original it is to display your artwork on a piano. even my friend displays his plastic model cars on his.enyway, i like the way it is coming out.looks like you have no problems.

Well my dog left me alone long enough that I could get some more work done.

Here is a pic of my dog Harley, he did have his front paws up on the keys but moved before I could snap the pic.

And before any body asks, yes the piano keys are inverted. I had seen it done on a couple other pianos and fell in love with it because it was different, so last summer I took every thing apart and did all the work myself.

Fantastic job on the skinning!

There seems to be a slight sheen in the 1st picture, did you apply anything to the surface?

I play piano myself, and must say that those inverted keys are a bit of an eyesore :P Cool idea of course!

Before I cut every thing I sprayed it all with Krylon Matte. Wanted to use a satin finish but my hardware store was out.

Got a little bit more done this weekend. I finished the cockpits and got the left side engine complete. Just finished getting all the top skin cut and glued all together, will glue it to the formers later on today.

Great looking build. What's amazing is not that you inverted the piano keys, but that your mother allowed you to tear into the thing in order to fool with the piano keys. You are one talented SOAG!

It is my piano and my mother has no say so in the matter. Plus it's my house, she lives with me.
