I bought this model when it came out, and have had two false starts on it. I also built Kens X-15, and that model came out perfect from the start. It all depends on how your luck is going on any given day. But with paper you can always strip it and re-skin. I did that on Will Aldridge's Corsair and in the end was very happy with the model. You just gotta keep your eye on the bigger picture.

Awesome!!!!.....

Now you know your fatigue limits.... used it, the finished model gonna be Greaaaat

i know my fatigue limits (build 4-5hours max) because i zooming out/in looking at my monitor and paper, glueing, Zooming again, cutting, etc...etc.... my eyes and fingers just tired..... now i used alarm clock, because when am build a model, i'm in my "Zone" .... nothing Can stop-distubed me ...... except my Wife of course(Yes Maam haha)...... and my daughter ....

Please Continue the Build Inky.

I had to do it twice too, ( don't tell everybody) I found out that when you do the whole upper (and) lower-skin as one big part , there is much less room for error, it will take it's shape when put together that way. You probably have to trim the rim when it is put in place
Good luck, and don't be afraid to ask more details, have a look in my old build thread.

I know what you mean about getting in the zone, I do the same thing, my disturber though is my dog, he wants my attention at all times and will not got to bed unless I do, I do most my best work late at night and he hates that.

I'm just starting this model, how did you get the nose cone on the nacelle so perfect? I'm used to models with tabs for these kinda of shapes.

Also do you have a little help for where the round parts / separators get glued in at in the diagram?

Thank you!
