Halinski 1/2006 P-47-D25 Thunderbolt

Hi Folks!

After being quiet for some time, and after the stoped Hind-project, I finally managed to finish some other project...

Not much to say, save from that the build was extrem fun due to excellent fit and sophisticated construction...

Cheers, Tom

Talking

... somehow I could lay hands on original footage of this bird...

It seems only Gabreski was a little shy the day those pictures were taken...

The propeller has rotating blades - and in your model it almost look like they will swing for maximum power or best cruise economy

Looks nice, that is a great model. Did you purchase the canopy to go with it?

Thanks guys for the all the comments!

@birder: yes, I purchased the vacuformed canopy also from Halinski. Really good fit. Before attaching, I polished it a little with a towel you use for glasses. Gives a really good shine!

Also the blasttubes for the cal.50s are preturned from the polish distributor Master-Model. tough in 1/32 sclae, the fit quite well after some small adjustments to the wing...

Cheers!

Hello Thomas,

coming out nicely, the Jugg - a good example for 'if you have the power - everything can fly ...'

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried
