love the -88
well. . .I really like the 88. What a great airplane. . .Doesn't matter who's "side" it was on. Superlative airframe; great engines; Jack of all trades; Incredibly robust and reliable.
What's not to like about the real thing or this model? @Wilfried: great work. I can't wait for your next post. cbg

Hello Wilfried,
My apologies for not replying sooner, but I have been otherwise engaged with things that have kept me from this wonderful hobby of ours. Anyway, the build is certainly shaping up to be a master-class which we can all benefit from and I for one will be adding this kit to my to-do pile. I have yet to attempt a Halinski kit, so a few simpler (?) ones may be in order first. I particularly like the way that the skins are joined on the actual panel lines and that they try to hide the joins with lumps, bumps and protuberances as much as possible. Skilful design skilfully built. All the best and happy modelling, Bernie |

Wilfried, if you're out there, what happened to this outstanding build? The thread reads like a beautifully illustrated storybook but where's the happy ending?? Was ist los?
