ccoyle Beautifully done, Peter! Back in my plastic modeling days, I preferred 1/72 scale, but it's pretty intimidating for paper. You have pulled it off masterfully!

Same here on 1/72.. I can remember getting WindSock magazine, and one of the first things I would look for is to see if there were any new vacs coming out.. Cardmodeling in a way is a lot like working on a vacuform kit, minus all the sanding. And not much in the way of plans. A 3-view drawing, and that was about it.

Just managed to catch up. Thanks for sharing what has been a master-class in small-scale modelling, lots of excellent and do-able techniques to try. I have all of J.B.'s aircraft and am in the early stages of one of the Spads (I see you beat me to this one) and I reflect all that has been said here about these kits.
