Tiger Moth VH ASC Red Baron Scenic Flights

Hi all

Our latest Tiger Moth...

Here's an interesting aircraft that flew over Sydney Australia in the 1980's. Over the years, the DH 82A was often pressed into cinematic service when a period war plane was required. This one however was used for scenic flights.

It's beautiful. But at my skill level, mine won't look like that!

Don

You might be surprised. These were built by my son age 20. We will have four different TM's on ecardmodels. We've included a 'Tips' page as well. They've been pretty well road tested and refined...

NEW!! BY AIR CLassique Models now available

Dear All

After six plus LONG years of design we have finally launched our first group of commercially available models.

It has been six years of seven -day a week sacrifice to create a whole new generation of paper aircraft. The first four Tiger Moth models are available from ecardmodels and sell for $5.00 each. As well as the individual model we have included comprehensive instructions and tips for producing highly detailed and accurate representations of these colorfulbiplanes. I hope that some of you will be interested enough to buy them and support this creative undertaking.

ECardmodels.com Shop

With nearly forty designs completed our aim is to have ONE HUNDRED Tiger Moths and variants completed by the end of 2009.

Our intention is to use them as a basis for an international model competition, with a standard scoring system. It is something that has been
absent in the modeling world and the ubiquitous Tiger Moth with its almost
infinite number of differing colorful paint schemes, and its ability to be
displayed in a compact diorama, seemed ideal.

As well we have another 25 different models of other Golden Age aircraft due out in 2009, many of which are keenly anticipated if the emails we have received for the last few years are anything to go by.

We also have designed a number of Golden Age airports as many of you are aware.

We have put the highest level of engineering and illustration into our
designs and they have been tested over and over again. We would easily have assembled or partly assembled well over 300 models in the process.

I would like to thank Rosie for the mind numbing amount of work she has put in. We have never had a 'day off' or a holiday either together or as a
family. As some of you are aware we also design postcards, and with over
0ne hundred designs in print, and many more printed, BY AIR Classique is a creative undertaking of considerable magnitude.

I don't know if there are any other women in the world designing model
aircraft apart from Rosie, so it has been very much a journey into a 'Man's
World', for Rosie.

I would like to thank my son Jack for helping assemble the Tiger Moth's you see attached. He is a fine modeler and a better musician.

This is good news. I can't say that I will buy every single Tiger Moth, but I will do my bit. I am even more interested in the other civil aircraft of the Golden Age that you two have designed.

Kudos all around for you, Rodsie, and Jack!

Don
