Hello Papermate
Thanks for your kind words, maybe you're right, my intention to follow the thread opened by Bob is simply follow the subject on the great model "Hawker Typhoon" edited by FG designe by Derek Roberts; Maybe I sidetracked with my obsession with the canopy, but the intention has been to continue commenting on the model and its possibilities. |

Tonight I made several attempts to build the canopy, the results were regular, I think it's important to choose the right material, acetate definitely not work, but other types of plastics seem to work best.

I tried to build a canopy years ago with Laminate foil (German: Laminierfolie). A piece of clear plastic used to Laminate documents etc.
It worked good after a few tests. It also worked good with thin plastic sheeds and a hair dryer.. Best regards, Andreas |

Hello Friends
I finished the Hawker Typhoon model (at last), the "kit" is great, I added the bays for the main landing gear, cockpit, exhausts and rockets 3D. I made the typical mistakes, but I hope you like it. |

Beautiful job, the canopy turned out great! The extra detail really makes a difference.
