FG Grumman F9F Cougar

This is a freebie from FG, for as long as that lasts! It comes with multiple schemes (2 Drones, 1 Trainer, Blue Angels and the regular blue version).

I build it in the Drone Control scheme:








There is a slightly too heavy ball bearing inside the nose and it has a rather weak nose LG... It came out pretty well, in my eyes. More images on the building progress on my website.

Nice job. I tried to build it twice years ago and was never fully happy with my result. It looks like it's been redesigned with more sections in the fuselage so that the wings fit better.

Beautifullllllllllllll The old F9F Cougar is one of my favorites of the cold war naval aircraft, When I joined the navy in 1958 they were still in use along with the old F4D Skyray, you done a great job on her for fiddler green not a bad kit at all. HARDY WELL DONE

Nice one Legion, I've got this in my build pile in the hope of getting all the Blue Angles together, but I got stuck on the A4 and haven't restarted.
