Nice, quick work, Tim. Like the colors, pattern and markings on this.
Great work on the landing gear.

Tim
looks like a fun project. If you want to build the engine for a side display on a stand, that may be nice. If you do, do not include the long tail pipe as those usually were attached prior to installation to the aircraft. Take some detail photos of the canopy making process when you post next. Cheers Isaac |

Excellent work Tim! You're very proficient at difficult areas - such as the fuselage underside. I find that the most troublesome area!
Now I know you said you wouldn't build the engine, but could we see pictures of it? This is the first paper model I've heard of where the publisher/designer offers a displayable engine - as in displayable jet engine. |

As requested details of the engine:
Not a bad representation of an early Goblin engine. There is a build thread here showing the engine: Moja pierwsza relacja Gloster G.40 Pionieer z orlika It would make a nice extra along side the jet. But, sadly I can't get any enthusiasm to build it. Tim |

Wing time:
Usual construction, was careful to not to get the left and right hand bits mixed up. The trailing edge need sanding down a bit, used some 120 grit - made short work of it. Used a metal rod to form the leading edge, then finished off with a steel rule and a large dowel for the wing surface curves. Painted any exposed parts a suitable colour. They both seem to have come out okay. Tim |

Hello Tim,
I agree with Don and the Gloster Whittle has its place in the history of the first jetplanes; I think it was a pity that the major persons at that time bring it to success earlier... with lovely greetings the Wilfried |

Wings are on:
Underside shot: They slotted in well, no trimming required at all. Formed and glued the upper wing fillets as well. Tim |
