Good and impressive model but you have to build the horizontal tail with an important dihedral.

Jan appears to be correct, the horizontal tailplane is supposed to have be very exaggerated in terms of dihedral.

Hi Pericles. Nice work as always. The problem with the dihedral is the king of one which are easily solved with the use of formers but Aaron don't like use them so this can happens.

It can also be handled by designing the part right. I'll have to do a test build and see what went wrong.
Edit: I took a close look, and discovered that I but the glue tabs on the wrong side. Essentially, if you follow my standard practice and put the glue tabs on the bottom, the tail planes are on upside down. Last edited by murphyaa; 04-16-2012 at 09:34 AM. |

Fine model, Pericles. I always like to see the discussion between designer and builder. We get some good insights that way.
I like U.S. and British aircraft of the early jet age. Your Mercator looks good next to your straight-wing Fury. Don |
