There is no secret. I do it on all models. The axis of the propeller is inserted into a special barrel and can rotate freely. It also allows you to remove the propeller to prevent damage during transporting of model.

No engine is not there. Propeller spins on the breath.

Very nice model and engineering going into it, looks very nice, like the Griffin shows how far the Spit could be pushed, although I understand it had a nasty torque in the opposite direction of the Merlin....scary
