Where can I get these kits? BIG fan of Porco and have the kits in 1/48 in plastic and would love them in paper.

Thanks for your kind words. Many things have improved since the last time I build the Savoia. The pass of time brings better camera, better techniques, newer tricks, and of course better results. I will link to some other photos of the past build from the original thread: Savoia.S21 Instructions (WIP) To compare them to the current build. Differences speak for themselves: Sorry, no dog today. She died 3 years ago. But I think she would have made a different face, this time of approval: The window in the gunbay hatch is protected with Tamiya tape for the clear coating and later manipulation. It will be removed at the end. Now I have to pause here because of study and other RL matters. Will resume work on it by the end of the month. Thanks for reading

I can see the difference between the two models, there is a very big improvement in the level of construction.

I am really impressed by how much better the new version is... these are the kinds of post that I really like. Perseverance and hard work with a pinch of fun. Congratulations... I love the Porco Rosso movie and all other animated aviation titles being that I am an avid collector of animated aviation titles, the crown jewels of my collection is the complete series of the Area88 (original OVA) as well as the newer version.

Porco himself came today in his menacing coat-and-hat attire
asking the reasons why the repairs on the Savoia are taking so long. I couldn't quite figure what was he thinking about behind that serious expression. The only excuse I could come up with, was the imminent death of the much needed red Prismacolor. Without it advances are hindered. That, and life too... Until next time .
